Public Workshop - July 28

This workshop is full.  We are considering hosting a second public workshop in the later fall.  If you are interested in being notified about future public workshops, please let us know.

Curious about what an Improv Effects workshop looks like?  Or maybe you've participated in a previous workshop but are curious about the different kinds of services available.

On Tuesday, July 28, 2015, we're hosting a public workshop and we'd love for you to be there and experience how it works.

If you've never participated in an Improv Effects workshop, you're in for a unique - and fun - experience.  The workshop consists of interactive communication exercises based in the tenets of improvisation. And don't worry! We're not preparing you for the stage.  The exercises are safe and accessible for people of all abilities and personality types.

If you have participated in a workshop before, you may be interested to know that we'll be using part of this workshop to roll out some brand new exercises we've been crafting.  In addition to great workshops on leadership, conflict resolution and innovation, we're rolling out workshops that take a closer look at how applied improv relates to taking risks, seeing obstacles as opportunities and navigating status.  While we've touched on those areas before, these new exercises go a little more in-depth.

We are limiting the number of participants, and this workshop will book up, so RSVP is required. Also, we ask there be no more than 2 participants from any one organization.  The workshop will take place from 2:30 - 4:30, with beverages and light appetizers served afterwards.

Whether you're looking to ease into a culture change, want solutions for conflict resolution or are looking for more communication tools when it's time to go "off script," applied improv will provide great take-aways for your team. It makes for a great team building event too!

It's improvisation, but there's a method to the madness. We have a proven process that begins with simple communication concepts, which then build on themselves until we arrive at specific, real-world techniques for effective, positive communication.
